Derenivka Tract

1. General Provisions.

1.1 The Derenivka Tract is a forest tract, which stretches out along the native forest hillside of the Smotrych River. Its surface is limited with rather deep ravines with steep sides. It is situated in 0.3 - 0.4 km eastward from the Hryts'kiv Village. There is a picturesque view of the mountain region both on the tract and from it. It is covered with an ancient forest and partially rocky flora, with a broad gulf of the Smotrych River. There is a northern border of the famous Podil's'ki Tovtry there. It caused the peculiar and diverse flora of the Tract. Growth of different species of plants, peculiar for flora of the Tovtry Ridge, in its hornbeam and oak forests is the typical peculiarity of the Tract. There are such plants, which are recorded in the Red Book of Ukraine among them. They are of the Orchidaceous kinds: bulatka velykokvitkova, koruchka morozykovydna and crimson, ovate leaf lychnis, ordinary gnizdivka, liubka bifoliate and zelenotsvitna, forest lily and ordinary snowdrop. The only place in Oblast' of growing of rare mountain Carpathian kind - karpeziy ponyklyi - was found there. There are very strong population of the rare kind - aconite sherstystovustyi, on the upper parts of the slopes, so- called "loby"(foreheads). The tusk of mammoth and other palaeontologic remnants of animals were found at the bottom of one of the biggest ravines, degraded with heavy showers and water from melted snow.
It became a reserve according to the resolution of the Oblast' Executive Committee, No.2 of 01.11.96.
1.2 The total area of the botanical nature monument of the local value, Derenivka Tract is 17.0 ha. The land user is the Collective Farm, named after Demytrov, located in Velykyi Karabchyiiv Village, Horodots'kyi Rayon.
1.3 The state botanical nature monument of the local value, Derenivka Tract, belongs to the nature reserved fund of Ukraine, which is protected as a national property, and is a part of the system of nature territories and objects, which are under special protection.
1.4 Liquidation, reorganization of the state botanical nature monument of the local value, Derenivka Tract, and change of it's borders is carried out according to the legislation currently in force.
1.5 The postal address of the land user:
Khmel'nyts'ka Oblast', Horodots'kyi Rayon, Velykyi Karabchyiiv Village, Collective Farm, named after Demytrov.

2. The purpose and aims of foundation of the state botanical nature monument of the local value Derenivka Tract.

2.1 The state botanical nature monument of the local value, Derenivka Tract, belongs to the nature reserved fund of Ukraine.
2.2 The main aim of the state botanical nature monument of the local value, Derenivka Tract, is preservation of rare species of plants, which are recorded in the Red Book of Ukraine. Article 27 of the Law of Ukraine about NRF (nature reserved fund) of Ukraine.
2.3 The state botanical nature monument of the local value, Derenivka Tract, may be used with aesthetic, educational, scientific, nature preserving, recreational and other purposes.

3. The regulations of the territory and protection of the state botanical nature monument of the local value, Derenivka Tract.

3.1 Any activities, which conflict with the aims and tasks, provided by the statute of the Nature Monument are limited or forbidden on the territory of the Nature Monument.
3.2 The economic, scientific and other kinds of activities, which do not conflict with the aims and tasks of the Nature Monument, are carried out according to the main requirements about the environmental protection.
3.3 Owners or user of the allotments of the nature objects, declared as a nature monument, take responsibilities of providing the order of its protection and preservation. Article 28 of the Law of Ukraine "About the nature reserved fund of Ukraine".
3.4 Carrying out of such economic activities, which can damage the Nature Monument and break ecological balance.
3.5 Building of the buildings, which may cause change of the character of the region or landscape and bear losses to the Nature Monument.
3.6 The exploration work, mining operations, transgression of the soil and flora.
3.7 Any littering or pollution of the territory of the Nature Monument.
3.8 To give land for building.
3.9 Other kinds of works that can break the natural connections and running of the natural processes, loss of the scientific, economic and aesthetic value of the Nature Monument.
3.10 Abuse of the legislation of Ukraine "About the nature reserved fund of Ukraine" and of the law "About the enviromnental protection" causes the disciplinary, administrative, civil or criminal amenability.
3.11 The deminision of the damage, caused to the Nature Monument, is defined according to the approved tariffs.
3.12 All kinds of the usage of nature, which are carried out on the territory of the Nature Monument are realized according to the permission of the State Administration of the Environmental Safety in Khmel'nyts'ka Oblast' within the bounds, approved in the fixed order.
The Statute is worked out on the basis of the Law of Ukraine "About the nature reserved fund of Ukraine".
