Dwelling House, the XV-XVIII centuries. Preservation Number #1651 | FotoIt is situated
in the estate of the Armenian
Mykolayivs'ka Church, sides with the south-western part of its fence. At the
end of the XV-at the beginning of the XVI centuries, the house was two-storied.
The entrance was from the north-eastern part. Being built in 1602, the fence
of the church joined to the house from each side. The angles of the house were
picked out from the outside by plastering rustication. The house had the the
Renaissance ornament. At the end of the XVII century, it was destroyd; after
the repairs it lost its original form and planning. It is stone, �ne-storied,
rectangular with late annexes in the south-east and north-west. There are two
window opennings without frames in the outside, south-western wall. The walls
remained the traces of stucco �nd fragments of ancient rustication on the angles
of the building.
The monument is one of the ancient Armenian houses in the city.
