Frantsyskans'ka St.
It is situated in the central part of the Old town, opposite the elevation of

was confiscated by the governor. From 1797 t 1831, the district five-classed

the Polish rebellion in 1830-1831 it was closed. In the 30's - 60's of the XIX

"Na smert' Pestelia, Muravyova i drugih muchenikov z rossiyskuyu svobodu"("To
Death of Pestel', Muravyov and Other Martyrs for Russian Freedom") (1826).
He was a member of November rebellion of 1830 in Warsaw. In 1896 - 1898, in
the city college Mykola Gryhorovych Kozyts'kyi studied there (1880 - 1920),
he was an agent of Lenin's "Iskra"("Spark") (1903), one
of the leaders of myanets'-Podil's'ka organization RSDRP (1905-1906), member
of the Great October socialistic revolution in Petrograd (1917), the chairman
of Podillian province executive committee (1920). In 1896 - 1897, Sergiy Mykolayovych
Serheyev-Tsens'kyi (1875-1958), a famous Russian writer and academician, worked
as a teacher of Russian language and literature at the college. He was sent

democracy in pedagogical work. In myanets'-Podil's'kyi he wrote his first

In the 30's, the building was given to the Pioneer House. In the 50's - middle
of the 80's, a metall-forming plant was located in the building; nowadays the
rayon department of public education is located there. In 1991, the building
