Remains of the two-storeyed Old Russian dwelling of the ղ�-ղ�� centuries were found in 1981 in 4Centralna Sq. Its floor was on the depth of 2.7 m, from the found surface. In the filling of the dwelling the heap of burnt wooden constructions was found. This wooden building was made of oaken logs "v oblo". Such constructive type of the dwelling buildings was typical for many Old Russian cities and, in particular, for Kyiv in the ղ�-ղ�� centuries (p.35). It was established, that in the central part of the Old Town the location of the Old Russian dwellings of the �II-�III centuries quasi coincided with the location of the Late Medieval buildings of the XVI-XVII centuries.
