7.The Old Russian Settlement

The Settlement belongs to the Slavonic Russian population of the ղ-ղ�� centuries. The materials from the settlement are in the Funds of cabinet of Archaeology of Kamyanets'-Podil's'kyi Pedagogical University.

The Settlement is located on the left high bank of the Smotrych River, in the forest. It is a kind of the arc-shaped fortification. The Settlement is surrounded by the low swell, 2 m high, the length of the shaft is 45 m. The Settlement occupies an area of about 900 square meters. The archaeological materials are dated by the ղ-ղ�� centuries.

According to the order of the Executive Committee of Khmelnyts'ka Oblast' Council from 5.05.1972, No.143, a border of the reserved area was established in radius of 50 m.
